Why you should love yourself

awe 🙂

I’m sure everyone is sick to the back to teeth of hearing and seeing people everywhere saying how others should look. Whether you’re a size 8 or 18 you should be able to feel comfortable in your skin, without having to worry about judgement by people who have nothing better to do with their lives than belittle others. Whether you’re thin or curvy, you should be able to wear what you want, regardless of whether that’s a cropped top or baggy jeans. As a society I feel we need to stop telling others how they should look and just focus on appriciating the good in everyone. Love yourself for who you are because you are beautiful ?

Post explains it all 🙂

Some stuff was taken from my post ‘Some people are only on this planet to ruin people’s days’

Hey there! So you wanna be a kool kat? Well follow this post!

#1: You are amazing just the way you are, so love yourself.

Are you depressed and want to suicide? Bullies telling you that your ugly? Or just feeling down? Don’t kill yourself, don’t believe them. Why? Because you are the beautiful, talented, unique, wonderful, amazing, you. you are wonderful just the way you are. Don’t let a bully tell you different, or to change. Don’t be depressed because you are you. You are you. You are beautiful, talented, unique, and you are.. you. We’re all wonderful just the way we…

Any Ideas?

Guys I am stumped on what to post on this website!

I remember when I first made this website (around half a year ago) Mustacheluv suggested a few books on bullying to me but I forgot which post it was on DD 😦 , plus I think she’s taking exams or something right now so I don’t know when I can ask.

So, why not ask my viewers?

If you have an idea, just put it inside the comments 🙂 then I’ll pick my favourite ones and put them in a poll on my next post (along with some of my ideas).

Ariyaaaaaaaaa :3

Now and then you have to admit, we probably have all been bullied before, and then did the same to someone else.

Bullying is sometimes controllable, and sometimes not. Some people accidentally bully when their (sort of insulting) opinion slips out, or didn’t know it was mean.

And then there’s that person who bullies by choice. You can tell when they do it constantly (AHEM MACKENZIE). They might even do it to their friend and not care.

So there was this girl in my class, Grace, she left school last semester because her dad got a better job. Our school has a very strict policy about bullying, and of they knew what Grace did, she could have left because of that.

Grace came to our school in grade four, and her best friend was Lauren (who is now my best friend). We would play together. Then our friend Brittany came in the second semester, and we would still play together.

Now Kristen came, the first months of grade five we would all play together, but then at lunch Grace would ditch me and Lauren and go play basketball with Kristen and Brittany with the boys.

(Kristen and Brittany don’t like Grace too, but they hang with her because they don’t wanna be on her bad side.)

Lauren and Grace were still best friends, ish. But Grace would just constantly say rude things, like, “don’t sit so close to me, Lauren!” Or “Shut up you lier.” And Lauren was just helping her! Grace would always push her and make her the last choice in our group.

Lauren still stayed with her, Lauren would talk about Grace with me (when Grace would desert us) and I would listen. Lauren would absolutely always put up with it. But at the end of the day, she’s sad.

Finally Grace left, and now Lauren, Kristen, Brittany, and I play together and sometime basketball with the boys. And now all of us are best Friends. But if we ever paired up, I would go with Lauren and Brittany would go with Kristen.

It was sort of a happy ending, you know, the evil witch leaving and never coming back (except on holidays) and us, having a better life.

Have you ever heard of Pink T-Shirt day?? Here’s the story:

One day, a boy wore a pink shirt to school. Some boys teased him because he was wearing pink, and that it’s a girly color.

The boy was bullied, and others watched him in the process.

One of the boys who were watching the boy get bullied, wore a pink shirt to school the next day.

By the end of the week, Everyone (besides the bullies) was wearing a pink shirt. It showed that the bullies were powerless, and he didn’t bully that boy ever again. (The End)

Do you see the moral of the story?

If your against bullying, be sure to wear a pink shirt this Friday to support Anti-Bullying-Day 🙂

Here are quotes that relate to bullying:

1) “Knowing what’s right doesn’t mean much unless you do what’s right.”

2) “I would rather be a little nobody, then to be a evil somebody.”

3) “Life is a fight, but not everyone’s a fighter. Otherwise, bullies would be an endangered species.”

4) “People who love themselves, don’t hurt other people. The more we hate ourselves, the more we want others to suffer.”

5) ”Courage is fire, and bullying is smoke”

6) ”Most times bullying never has to with you, it’s the bully who’s insecure.”

7) “When people hurt you over and over, think of them like sand paper. They may scratch and hurt you a bit, but in the end, you end up polished and they end up useless.”

8) “You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.”

9) “You will never reach higher ground if you are always pushing others down.”

10) “Dear anyone getting bullied, Never lose hope. Please don’t ever give up. It does get better, no matter what you think.”

Have you seen CyberBully from ABC Family?? Here’s what its about:

There is this girl named Taylor Hillridge, on her seventeenth birthday
she receives a computer from her mom. Taylor is excited by having the independence of going online without her mother always watching her.

Things are even better when her crush Scott asked her out to the upcomming dance, she says yes. She has two best friends, Cheyenne and Samantha. Cheyenne is happy for Taylor, but Samantha is not. Because Samantha used to date one of Scott’s friends, then later dumped her.

Taylor creates an account to a social web called “Cliquester” but her little brother Eric hacks into her account and says mean stuff about her. After that the her classmates write horrid comments back to her, which makes Taylor not wanna go face the people at school. Soon Eric got caught and was grounded for a month.

Taylor then finds this person James online (who turns out to be fake) and is friendly to her. But James winds up a rumor saying that Taylor slept with him, though they never met in person. Taylor gets called a “slut” and “whore” wich resulted to bullying. The abuse that Taylor receives from the hands of her schoolmates pushes her to a breaking point. Plus Scott doesn’t wanna go to with her to the dance anymore and Cheyenne and Samantha turn their backs on Taylor.

Overcome with depression and anger, Taylor posts a video about how she can no longer live with herself. Samantha sees this and quickly goes to Taylor’s house and finds her trying to commit suicide by overdosing with pills, but cannot get the cap off. Taylor is then sent to a hospital.

Taylor’s mother recommends that Taylor should go to a support group with other people who have been bullied. She finds out that one of her classmates, Caleb is going through the same thing, only he is targeted for being gay. Taylor finds support in the group and deals with the bullying much better.

Taylor finds out that Samantha was the one created the “James” profile and set her up. Samantha feels guilty and becomes a victim of cyber bullying herself, then joins Taylor’s support group.

Taylor soon forgives Samantha, bringing back their friendship. In the end, Taylor, Samantha, Cheyenne, Caleb, and Scott all stand up against the people who cyber bullied (Lindsay) and a law is passed to help fight against bullying.

It’s really a great movie.

Hello, my name is Rianne McGuire, and this blog is about bullying.

Cyber Bullying online, at school, or at anyplace in the world, is completely wrong.  Approximately 160,000 teens skip school every day and 4,400 teens commit suicide a year because of bullying. That’s how much they get hurt, and we want it to stop.

So have you ever been bullied, teased, or abused? Would you be okay with sharing it on this website and how you put up with it?

Please email your story at bulliedmoments@gmail.com and it will be posted in this site.
